Singapore Parliament dissolved the election to July 10.

Singapore prime minister Lee Hsien Loong passed the message to their President to conduct the general election on the upcoming July 10 this year.  Following Lee Hsien’s announcement. Country’s president Halimah Yacob has dissolved parliament nomination and that will begin on Jun 30. Therefore this election going to be held in the mid of the COVID19 outbreak.

Singapore Prime minister addresses the media, “The alternative is to wait out the Covid-19 pandemic. But we have no assurance that the pandemic will be over before this government’s term must end next April. And that is why I have decided to hold the general election now,” he added.
