India – Angola First joint commission meeting

Key points:

The African country and India Joint Commission control its initial session on September seven through video – conferencing.

Dr. Subrahmanyam Jaisankar (External Affairs Minister of India), and Tete Antonia (Minister of External Relation of the Republic of Angola) control the session.

India and Angola  signed 3 agreements they are

1.         Agreement in visa exemption for Holder of diplomatic, official, and service passports

2.         Cooperation in the field of Health

3.         Cooperation between the Angola Ministry and Sushma Swaraj Institute of Foreign Service.

India and Angola encourage investment in Information Technology (IT), Telecommunications, Education sector, and Health sector.

The meeting set a bilateral relation between India and Angola in various fields such as,

ü  Agriculture and Food Processing

ü  Diamond Trading

ü  Pharmaceuticals

ü  Information Technology

ü  Telecommunication

ü  Oil and Natural gas
