Tribute to Martyrs of the Parliament Attack

Shri Narendra Modi, Prime Minister and Shri Amit Shah, Union Home Minister paid their tributes to the martyrs of 2001 Parliament attack. The Prime Minister on his official twitter page said that he will never forget the attack made on the Parliament in 2001. He added on saying that all the lives that were lost during the attack were nothing but a symbol of valour and sacrifice.

The Union Home Minister also made a tweet regarding the 2001 Parliament attack. He said that this year marks the 19^th Anniversary of the deadly attack made by the Lashkar-e-Taiba and Jaish-e-Mohammed terrorists groups. During the attack, 5 police officers, a woman and 2 officers of the Parliament House along with a gardener, ward staff were fired to death.
