50^th Anniversary Celebrations of Indo-Pak War

Shri Narendra Modi, Prime Minister of India will attend the 50^th Anniversary Celebrations of Indo- Pakistan war on 16 December 2020.  The tremendous victory of the Indian Armed Forces over Pakistan, led to the partition of Bangladesh  as a separate  nation. This war took place in 1971 between India and Pakistan and it is sometimes known as ‘Swarnim Vijay Varsh.’

The inaugural function of the celebration is about to take place today in New Delhi at National War Memorial (NWM). Shri Rajnath Singh  will receive the Prime Minister of India,  Shri Narendra Modi on his arrival. The Prime Minister along with many chief officers will pay homage and respect to the martyred soldiers of the war.
