The study conducted by the researcher mentions that Pathogens are a great threat to human habitats which are found in the Yamuna river in India.
The world health organization has released the first list of antibiotic-resistant “priority pathogens” is known as bacteria that are a great threat to human lives and require an urgent need for new antibiotics.
Also, the study revealed that 35percent of sewage generated in the city is not being treated and a large part of it ends up in the Yamuna.
“Poor sewage collection and lack of connectivity between drains and sewage treatment plants have worsened the situation,” noted the paper published in the Journal of Environmental Chemical Engineering.
