IBPS RRB 2020 Exam is going to be conducted by IBPS(Institute of Banking Personnel) for selection of eligible candidates to the post of officers and office assistant in various branches of Rural Banks located all over the country.

The Online Registration Process for IBPS RRB 2020 will commence from 1st july 2020. The IBPS RRB Officer scale 1 and office Assistant Exam Selection Procedure will occur basically in two stages: Preliminary exam and Mains Exam. Depending on the results of both phases, students who are qualified in two stages are allotted a seat in Regional Rural Bank. Note: Candidates who are applying for the post of Office assistant are not required to appear for the interview process.

IBPS RRB 2020 Eligibility

Before applying to the exam, Eligibility is the criteria that the applicants must ensure that they fulfil the following requirements to further proceed to the next level. The various criteria are as stated below:

Age Criteria

  • For Officer Scale- III [Senior Manager] : Candidates should be above 21 years and below 40 years i.e. candidates should not have been born earlier than July 3, 1980 and later than June 30, 1999.
  • For Officer Scale- II [Manager] : Candidates should be above 21 years and below 32 years i.e. candidates should not have been born earlier than July 3, 1980 and later than June 30, 1999.
  • For Officer Scale- I [Assistant Manager]: Candidates should be above 18 years and below 30 years i.e. candidates should not have been born earlier than July 3, 1990 and later than June 30, 2002.
  • For Office Assistant (Multipurpose) : Candidates should be above 18 years and below 30 years i.e. candidates should have not been born earlier than July 02, 1992 and later than June 01, 2002.

Age Relaxation:

Candidates who are applying for IBPS RRB Office Assistant 2020 Examination should possess one of the following citizenship/ Nationality:

  • Citizen of India
  • The occupant of Nepal or Bhutan
  • The immigrant from Tibet to India, who came to stay in India permanently,.
  • Person of Indian Origin (PIO) who has migrated from Burma, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Vietnam or East African countries of Zaire, Kenya, Tanzania, Uganda, Zambia, Ethiopia, Malawi, with the intention of staying in India permanently. Also, the Candidates who belong to the above category 2, 3, 4 must have a certificate of eligibility, which was issued by the Govt of India in their favour.

IBPS RRB exam 2020 Admit Card

IBPS has released the IBPS RRB admit card 2020 on the official website on September 11, 2020. Different Admit Cards with the exam center preferred by the candidate are issued for both Preliminary and Mains Examination for both Assistant and Office Assistant. Following are the Steps to download the admit card, without the admit card, the candidate is not applicable to write the Exam.

IBPS RRB 2020 Exam Pattern

The selection to the post of Office Assistant exam pattern is quite different to that of exam pattern for the selection to the post of Officer Grade. For IBPS RRB Assistant 2020, Exam will be conducted in two phases:

  • Preliminary Exam
  • Mains Exam

As mentioned above, there is no interview process will be conducted for selecting candidates to the post of Office Assistant. A selection of candidate to the post of Assistant/ Office Assistant is determined on the basis of marks that obtained by candidate in his/her Mains Examination.

Interview process applicable only for post of officers ( Scale I, II and III).Candidates who have been shortlisted in the main examination / Single level examination under CRP-RRB-IX be called for an Interview. IBPS RRB result 2020 for preliminary exam for Officer Scale 1 (PO) and Office Assistant (Clerk) posts will be announced in September by IBPS (Institute of Banking Personnel Selection). Candidates are requested to access their IBPS RRB result online from the official website(ibps.in by logging on their registration number/roll number and date of birth. The result will then display the qualifying status of candidates. The marksheet of IBPS RRB prelims exam will be released few days after the declaration of result. Note: Candiadtes who are clearing the Prelims exam is called for the Mains exam. The following are the steps to check IBPS RRB 2020 result.
