About Exam

SSC CPO 2019-20 is being conducted by Staff Selection Commission to recruit eligible candidates to the post of Sub Inspector in Delhi Police, Sub Inspector in CAPFs, Assistant Sub Inspector in CISF, Inspector posts and Sub Inspector Posts.

The SSC CPO 2019 Notification has been released by SSC on 17th September 2019. SSC has announced that SSC CPO 2019-20 Paper 1 exams is expected to be held within 11th December 2019 to 13th December 2019. The last date to submit the SSC CPO 2019 application is 16th October 2019.

SSC CPO 2019 Eligibility:

Before applying to the exam, the applicants must ensure that they fulfil the following eligibility requirements to further proceed to the next level. The various criteria are as stated below:

Nationality:

The candidates who is applying must be a

  • Citizen of India
  • A occupant of Bhutan or Nepal
  • A immigrant from Tibet to India, who came to stay in India permanently.

People of Indian origin who have migrated from Sri Lanka, Pakistan, Burma, Vietnam, Ethiopia, Kenya, Malawi, Tanzania, Zaire, or Zambia with an intension to settle in India permanently

Age Limit:

  • Minimum Age Limit – 20 years
  • Maximum Age Limit – 25 years

However, it may be noted that age relaxation is also given to different reserved category candidates as mentioned below:

SSC CPO 2019 Educational Qualification:

Once you fulfil the above eligibility criteria. The following shows the academic qualification to be fulfilled.

1. A candidate must have Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline from a recognised University.

2. For the post of Sub Inspector in Delhi Police (only) – Male candidates must possess a valid Driving License for LMV (Motor cycle and Car) as on the date fixed for Physical Endurance and Standard Tests. Otherwise, they will not be allowed to undergo Physical Endurance and Standard Tests.

SSC CPO 2019 Vacancies:

Last year, Staff Selection Commission of India increased the overall SSC CPO Vacancy to 2697.The aspirants should also know about the vacancies. Vacancies will be determined in due course.

SSC CPO 2019 Application Form:

Candidates who fulfil the eligibility criteria of SSC CPO 2019 can submit the Online Application Form. The SSC CPO 2019 Apply Online started from 17th September 2019 and will close on 16th October 2019. Candidates can fill the form in online mode only by visiting the official portal (different for different regions) of SSC.

The application process mainly consists of the following steps which are given below:

STEP 6: : The final step is the payment process of SSC CPO 2019 application fee through various modes namely Credit/ Debit card, Net banking, Cash Card & Wallet and IMPS. You can also download and take a print out of the application for future use.

SSC CPO 2019 Application Fee:

Candidates can pay their SSC CPO 2019 application fee through SBI Challan/ SBI Net Banking or by using credit/ debit card of Visa/ MasterCard/ Maestro.

SSC CPO Application Fee Rs 100

The application fee to be payable at the time of registration is Rs.100 for general category male candidates.

For Women and ST/SC/Physically Handicapped/Ex-servicemen are exempted from the application fee.

SSC CPO 2019 Admit Card:

After registering successfully, SSC will release admit card of SSC CPO 2019 for the registered candidates. Here, the candidate will need Registration Number/Roll Number and the Password/D.O.B while logging in to download the admit card.

Candidates can download SSC CPO 2019 admit card one week before the commencement of the exam from the concerned regional/ sub regional office website from the official website

Note: it is mandatory for candidates to carry all their required documents (admit card, ID proof, photographs) to the exam centre on the day of the examination. Candidates who fail to bring either of any required documents might not be allowed to write the Exam.

SSC CPO 2019 Exam Pattern:
