KAZIND-2023 Joint Military Exercise
KAZIND-2023 Joint Military
Exercise
120 members of the Indian Army
and Indian Air Force left India to take part in the 7th Joint Military Exercise
"KAZIND-2023," which is being held in Kazakhstan. This exercise,
which will take place in Otar, Kazakhstan from October 30 to November 11, 2023,
is intended to improve cooperation and combat readiness.
Indian Air Force and Army
Involvement
Ninety members make up the
Indian Army contingent, which is commanded by a battalion from the DOGRA
Regiment. Conversely, the majority of the Kazakhstan contingent is made up of
members of the Kazakh Ground Forces' Regional Command South. This exercise is a
true joint effort because 30 personnel from the Kazakhstan Air Force and the
Indian Air Force will also be taking part.
Development of the Task
Since its inception in 2016
under the name "Exercise PRABAL
DOSTYK," the exercise has grown
significantly. It was upgraded to a company-level exercise after its second
edition and given the new name "Exercise KAZIND." This year, the Air
Force component has been added to further improve it into a Bi-service
Exercise.
The Exercise's Development
Since it was first implemented
in 2016 as "Exercise PRABAL DOSTYK," the exercise has grown
significantly. It was upgraded to a company-level exercise and renamed
"Exercise KAZIND" after its second edition. By adding the Air Force
component this year, it has been improved even more to become a Bi-service
Exercise.
Improving Arrangement
This exercise provides a rare
chance for military personnel from Kazakhstan and India to become acquainted with one another's
tactics, battle drills, and procedures. This is crucial when conducting
operations under UN auspices. It will make it easier for people to acquire the
critical abilities, fortitude, and coordination needed to carry out joint
military operations in urban and semi-urban settings.
Mutual Learning:
During "Exercise
KAZIND-2023," both sides will have the chance to hone a variety of combat
skills and benefit from one another's experiences. It is anticipated that this
cooperative endeavor will deepen the relationship between the two armies and
improve their ability to work together in a variety of military situations.
