Ø Russia’s Soyuz MS-18 Yu. A. Gagarin Rocket (named after Yuri Gagarin the 1^st human being to travel to space) successfully launched a 3-member crew to the International Space Station.

Ø The rocket was launched from Baikonur Cosmodrome, Kazakhstan.

Ø The arrival of 3 more astronauts to ISS, temporarily increases the Stations’s population to 10.

Ø The first Indian to enter space was Rakesh Sharma, when he flew aboard the Soviet rocket Soyuz T-11 in 1984.
