EATSMART CITIES & TRANSPORT4ALL CHALLENGE

Ø Minister of State for Housing & Urban Affairs virtually launched two events. They are EatSmart Cities Challenge & Transport 4 All Challenge.

Ø All Smart Cities, capital cities of States/ UTs and cities with a population of more than 5 lakh are eligible to take part in the 2 challenges.

Ø EatSmart Cities Challenge is to motivate cities to develop a plan which supports a healthy, safe and sustainable food environment.

Ø It is an initiative under the “Eat Right India” Movement .

Ø Transport 4 All challenge is to develop solutions for making public transport safe, affordable, comfortable and reliable for all.
