The
Indian Institute of Horticulture Research (IIHR) will organize a three-day
National Horticulture Expo at its Hessarghatta campus on the outskirts of
Bengaluru from 5 to 7 March 2024. "Return to Sustainable Progress"
refers to the integration of the latest technologies into horticultural methods
to promote sustainability and increase farmers' income.
The
National Horticulture Expo 2024 is a collaboration between ICAR-IIHR.
Society for the Promotion of Horticulture (SPH), BESST-HORT (Technology
Business Incubator ICAR-IIHR), ICAR-ATARI Bengaluru and development
organizations working to promote and promote the horticulture industry and allied
industries.

the impact on the environment and promote efficient and environmentally
friendly operations for sustainable development. -IIHR was established in 1967
and conducts basic, applied and scientific research on horticultural crops.
Currently, the institute researches 58 horticultural crops, including 13 types
of fruits, 30 types of vegetables and 10 types of flowers. and 5 medicinal
herbs. The IIHR brand has launched 354 varieties, 156 technologies,
commercialized 176 technologies for 746 customers and has 1,250 licenses.
Additionally, the organization contributed by organizing more than 850
workshops and 7 national horticultural fairs. . 30,051 Crore per annum for the National Horticulture Industry.
Practical Training and
Workshops:
The Expo will offer training and
workshops on all aspects of horticulture to provide visitors with hands-on
experience, involvement and skills. using latest technology in its work.

and organizations:
25 farmers (5 from Northeastern
states), 4 entrepreneurs, 5 food organizations and 5 Krishi Vigyan Kendra
employees at the event, good for horticulture industry will be rewarded for a
cooperation efforts.
