IBPS Clerk 2019 exam, which is the eighth year clerk exam that going to be conducted by the Institute of Banking Personnel Selection to select eligible candidates for the clerical profession in multiple Government as well as Public Sector banks all over the country.

The IBPS Clerk 2019 exam will be conducted on two levels- preliminary exam and mains. Here, interview process is not required in order to select the eligible candidate for the post of clerk. The Merit List is made based on the total score of obtained from both Preliminary Examination as well as Mains Examination.

IBPS Clerk 2019 Eligibility:

Before applying to the exam, the applicants must ensure that they fulfil the following eligibility requirements to further proceed to the next level. The various criteria are as stated below:

Age Relaxation:

Candidates who are applying for IBPS CWE/Bank Clerk Examination should possess one of the following citizenship/ Nationality:

  • Citizen of India
  • The occupant of Nepal or Bhutan
  • The immigrant from Tibet to India, who came to stay in India permanently,.
  • Person of Indian Origin (PIO) who has migrated from Burma, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Vietnam or East African countries of Zaire, Kenya, Tanzania, Uganda, Zambia, Ethiopia, Malawi, with the intention of staying in India permanently. Also, the Candidates who belong to the above category 2, 3, 4 must have a certificate of eligibility, which was issued by the Govt of India in their favor.

Educational Qualification for IBPS Clerk 2019:

Candidate should hold a Graduation Degree from any recognized University by the Government of India.

Candidates should have a valid Mark-sheet / Degree:

The mark sheet certificate which supports that the candidate is a graduate on the day they were registered for the exam. Here, the candidate should mention the marks obtained in the Graduation during the time of registration for the IBPS Bank-Clerk examination.

Computer Literacy:

Aspirants who applying for the post of IBPS Clerk exam which is conducted online must have Knowledge of computer operation.

Language Proficiency:

Candidates should have verbal and written proficiency like read, write and speak in the official language of the State/UT.

Step 1: Register in www.ibps.in by providing basic details to generate individual’s provisional registration number and password.

Step 2: Fill IBPS Clerk CWE 2019 Application Form and upload with required documents.

Step 3: The final step is the payment process of IBPS Clerk application fee through various modes namely Credit/ Debit card, Net banking, Cash Card & Wallet and IMPS.

IBPS Clerk CWE 2019 Application Fee:

For candidates belonging to General Category- The application fees for IBPS Clerk CWE 2019 exam is Rs. 600/-

For candidates belonging to SC/ST/PWD/Ex-serviceman category- The application fee is reduced to Rs. 100/-

IBPS Clerk CWE 2019 Admit Card:

IBPS Clerk admit card 2019 for the preliminary exam, it is expected that it will be released in the last week of November. Once the Admit card released, following are the step to download IBPS Clerk 2019 exam admit card from the official website of the institute.

Step 2: Click on the Admit Card link

Step 3: Enter Registration Number and Password/ Date of Birth

IBPS Clerk CWE 2019 Exam Center:

IBPS Clerk 2019 will be conducted across all major cities of India. As per the preference of the participants while applying for the exam, the city for the exam will be allocated. IBPS Clerk 2019 Exam Pattern:

IBPS Clerk Preliminary Exam Pattern

Here with the total duration of one hour, the candidate needs to complete the IBPS Clerk Preliminary exam which is divided into three tests. For further clarification candidates can refer the table below:

IBPS Clerk Main Exam Pattern

Here with the total duration of 2 hours and 40 minutes, , the candidate needs to complete the IBPS Clerk Preliminary exam which is divided into four tests. Question papers for all the tests except English Language will be set in both Hindi as English languages. For further clarification candidates can refer the table below:

Salary of IBPS Clerk 2019:

During the period of training, the salary of a Clerk in a Public Sector Bank is Rs.18000 to Rs.21000. Once the training period is over, multiple perks and emoluments are added. All these perks and emoluments that provided will differ from bank to bank.
