A candidate is required to fulfil the following criteria to be eligible for TNUSRB SI Recruitment Exam 2019.

A candidate must be a citizen of India

The candidate must fall under the prescribed age limit specified by the Government of India, the detail to which is mentioned below:

Age Limit:

The candidate’s age should be of 20 to 28 years as on July 01, 2019.

Upper Age Limit:

• BC – 30 years
• SC / ST– 33 years
• Widow – 35 years
• Ex-servicemen and Departmental Candidates – 45 years

Board also provide relaxation in the upper age limit for various categories. The category-wise relaxation in upper age limit is as follows-

• Applicants must have a Bachelor’s degree from a university or institution recognized by UGC or Government in 10+2+3/4/5 or 10+3+2 in case of Diploma program.
• However, aspirants having Bachelor’s degree from Open University without going through the 10+2+3 pattern will not be considered eligible for this post.
• It is compulsory for all the applicants to have Tamil as a subject in class X/ class XII/ degree level.
• In case, applicants who have not studied Tamil they have to pass the Tamil Part II test conducted by Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission (TNPSC) within two years of joining.

Candidates who fulfil the eligibility criteria of TNUSRB SI (Sub-Inspector) Recruitment 2019 can submit the Online Application Form. Candidates can register for TNUSRB SI, the Application Form 2019 starts on March 20, 2019 and it ends on April 19, 2019.

Candidates can fill the form in online mode only by visiting the official portal (different for different regions) of TNUSRB.

The application process mainly consists of the following steps which are given below:

STEP 1: Go to the official website of TNUSRB i.e. www.tnusrbonline.org

STEP 2: Find out the link for TN Sub-Inspector of Police (TK, TSP) 2019.

STEP 3: Go through the notification carefully

STEP 4: Fill all the required information that has been asked.

STEP 5: Click on the submit button

STEP 6: The final step is the payment process of TNUSRB SI (Sub-Inspector) exam application fee through various modes namely Credit/ Debit card, Net banking, Cash Card & Wallet and IMPS. You can also download and take a print out of the application for future use.

Examination fee can be paid either through Online mode ((Credit/Debit/Net-Banking) nor Offline mode (SBI Cash Challan).

• All the applicants have to pay an examination/ application fee of Rs.500.
• Departmental candidates who will be appearing for both the departmental and open examinations are required to pay an application fee of Rs.1000/-.

After registering successfully, TNUSRB will release admit card of TNUSRB SI Exam 2019 for the registered candidates. Here, the candidate will need Registration Number/Roll Number and the Password/D.O.B while logging in to download the admit card.

Note:it is mandatory for candidates to carry all their required documents (admit card, ID proof, photographs) to the exam centre on the day of the examination. Candidates who fail to bring either of any required documents might not be allowed to write the Exam.

Stage 5- Medical Examination & verification of Character & Antecedents/Document Verification-

On the basis of previous stages, candidates will be shortlisted provisionally for the post of SI (Sub-Inspector). These provisionally selected candidates have to go through a medical examination and appear for document verification procedure. After the verification of Character & Antecedents, final selection of candidates will be made.

TNUSRB will declare result for TNUSRB SI Exam 2019 after the completion of each phase. It is announced that the TNUSRB SI Result 2019 will be declared on the official website. The result will be based on the performance of the candidates and it will contain the name and roll number of the qualified candidates.

The recruited candidates for the applied post will be given pay scale of Rs 36900 – 116600. Apart from the salary, other dearness allowances will be also given to the candidates.
