Brief Information: Steel Authority of India Limited (SAIL) has issued a notification for the recruitment of Operator Cum Technician (Trainee) Vacancies. Interested candidates who meet the eligibility criteria are invited to read the notification and apply online.

Qualification: Candidates should have completed 10th Class or possess a Diploma in relevant engineering disciplines.
General Instructions:
Candidates must ensure they fulfill all eligibility conditions as per the advertisement. Admission to all examination stages will be provisional, subject to verification of prescribed eligibility conditions at the time of the skill test. Candidature shall be canceled if eligibility conditions are not met.
Applicants must be Indian nationals with requisite qualifications from a State/Central Government-recognized institute.
Candidates should be aware that the dates of Computer-Based Test (CBT) or Skill Test for multiple posts/disciplines may overlap.
Admit Cards for CBT will be issued to all prima-facie eligible candidates based on details provided in the online application form and submission of applicable fees.
Biometric registration and verification will be conducted during the selection process and at the time of joining.
Selected candidates must meet medical fitness requirements as per company rules and may be required to serve at any Plant/Unit/Mines of SAIL.
Full name provided in the matriculation or equivalent examination should be used while applying. Issuance of Admit Card for CBT/Call Letter for Skill Test or Offer of Appointment does not imply acceptance of candidature.
Candidature may be rejected/canceled at any stage of the recruitment process if provided information is false or not in conformity with eligibility conditions, or if valid documentary proof of eligibility is not provided, or if the candidate fails the pre-employment medical examination.
Candidates currently employed in any Government/PSUs must provide a No Objection Certificate (NOC) from their employer at the time of Skill Test and/or release order upon joining.
Emoluments & Other Benefits:
Candidates selected for the above posts will undergo on-the-job training for two years, extendable as per requirement.Throughout the training period, they will be provided with a consolidated pay of Rs.16,100/- for the initial year and Rs.18,300/- for the subsequent year, in addition to complimentary medical facilities, leave, and other benefits
After finishing the training, they can get a regular job in the S-3 grade, where they'll earn between Rs.26600 to Rs.38920.
Regularization entails Basic Pay, Industrial Dearness Allowance, perquisites, Contributory Provident Fund, Gratuity, free Medical Treatment for self and family, among other benefits.
House Rent Allowance will be provided where company accommodation is unavailable.
CTC at the minimum scale of pay upon regularization in S-3 grade will be approximately Rs.10.4 Lakh per annum (excluding location-based allowances, category-specific allowances, etc.).
As direct recruitment with initial basic pay, the company will not bear any liability for salary/leave salary/pension contribution from previous employment.
