Before applying to the exam, the applicants must ensure that they fulfil the following eligibility requirements to further proceed to the next level. The various criteria are as stated below:

• A occupant of Bhutan or Nepal
• A immigrant from Tibet to India, who came to stay in India permanently.
• People of Indian origin who have migrated from Sri Lanka, Pakistan, Burma, Vietnam, Ethiopia, Kenya, Malawi, Tanzania, Zaire, or Zambia with an intension to settle in India permanently.

Note: Candidates should note that their Date of Birth should match as recorded in the High school and 10+2 / Certificate or an equivalent certificate.

Staff Selection Commission of India has released the updated vacancy for SSC JE 2019 Exam. A total of 1601 vacancy has been declared for SSC JE 2019 Exam.

Candidates who fulfil the eligibility criteria of SSC JE 2019 can submit the Online Application Form. The SSC JE 2019 Apply Online started from 13th August 2019 and will close on 12th September 2019. Candidates can fill the form in online mode only by visiting the official portal (different for different regions) of SSC.

The application process mainly consists of the following steps which are given below:

STEP 1: Go to the official website of SSC i.e. ssc.nic.in

STEP 2: Find out the link for SSC JE 2019.

STEP 3: Go through the notification carefully

STEP 4: Fill all the required information that has been asked.

STEP 5: Click on the submit button

STEP 6: The final step is the payment process of SSC JE 2019 application fee through various modes namely Credit/ Debit card, Net banking, Cash Card & Wallet and IMPS. You can also download and take a print out of the application for future use.

Candidates can pay their SSC JE 2019 application fee through SBI Challan/ SBI Net Banking or by using credit/ debit card of Visa/ MasterCard/ Maestro.

The application fee to be payable at the time of registration is Rs.100 for general category male candidates. For Women and ST/SC/Physically Handicapped/Ex-servicemen are exempted from the application fee.

After registering successfully, SSC will release admit card of SSC JE 2019 for the registered candidates. Here, the candidate will need Registration Number/Roll Number and the Password/D.O.B while logging in to download the admit card.

Candidates can download SSC JE 2019 admit card one week before the commencement of the exam from the concerned regional/ sub regional office website from the official website. Note: The admit card for the JE paper-I exam will be released first followed by the admit card of JE Paper-2 exam (administered to only those candidates who qualify for Paper- 1 exam).

Note: it is mandatory for candidates to carry all their required documents (admit card, ID proof, photographs) to the exam centre on the day of the examination. Candidates who fail to bring either of any required documents might not be allowed to write the Exam.

SSC JE paper-1:

The selection process for SSC JE will be conducted in two phases- paper-1 and paper-2.

All the questions in paper-I will be of objective type and the aspirants are supposed to choose one most appropriate answer form the four other options.

Note: There will be the provision of negative marking in the question paper and 1/4th marks of the questions will be deducted as penalty for every wrong answer.
